Every Coach Bag Line: The Essential Guide
Set up in 1941, Coach first focused on men’s small leather goods, while women’s handbags came later and eventually became the heart of the brand. These days, coach handbags stretch from firm shoulder bags and soft hobos to satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues. In turn, this walkthrough sets out what each key bag is, when it appeared and how it is put together. Launch dates are given only where they are documented, and several popular lines have no reliable launch year on record.
Instead of being taken from an official price list, the prices here are observed market prices from 2026, and size, material and promotions all move them up or down. Similar names can refer to entirely different designs, a point worth remembering before buying your first coach bag. Some shoppers search online for a Coach bag by typing „couch bag“, which can bring listings for furniture into the results, because the first word also means a sofa.
The Tabby
The Tabby is a neatly structured shoulder bag that can equally be worn crossbody, featuring detachable straps and Signature „C“ hardware. Stuart Vevers introduced it in 2019, modeling it on a silhouette from Coach’s 1970s archive. Fashion photographer Juergen Teller reportedly shot the bag’s launch campaign, „Dream It Real“. The core product name is coachstore Tabby Shoulder Bag, and sizes 20, 26 and 36 have appeared in listings.
The softly padded Pillow Tabby followed in 2021, offered under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. On the US market the Tabby 26 was observed at $475, and in the UK at £475; quilted and special-edition versions cost more. The easy switch between shoulder and crossbody wear makes it well suited for buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.
The Brooklyn Family
The Brooklyn is a relaxed coach shoulder bag in natural-grain leather, a lot closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. It appeared on the Fall 2024 runway and was launched in August 2024. Reports so far point to two main sizes: the Brooklyn 28 and the larger Brooklyn 39. The 39 is described as roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, making it a workable work bag.
A newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026, and it is a different bag from the shoulder styles. At John Lewis in the UK, the Brooklyn 28 was observed selling for £350. The Brooklyn was among the bags named when The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had climbed 160%. That figure, however, counts searches rather than resale prices.
The Rogue Family
The Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel, featuring top handles and a shoulder strap. It first appeared on the Fall 2016 runway, was later discontinued and returned in a 2021 relaunch. At the very top of Coach’s leather range, the line offers versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. The highest Coach bag price observed in 2026 came from a Rogue 25 in alligator, observed at $8,000.
Coach also makes a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken about 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. Restored Rogue bags have been offered through Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program. For many collectors, the Rogue illustrates how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall Line
Listed as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, the Empire Carryall is a long, east-west top-handle bag. It was presented on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and put on sale in February 2025. The bag sold out on its release day, as fashion press reported. Softer variants called Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40, are separate styles from the structured Carryall 34.
For UK shoppers the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own website. Its long top-handle shape turns it into a more polished alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. When comparing listings, check the number that follows the name: 34 and 40 are different bags.
Kisslock Bags Compared: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Kisslock is the name of a frame clasp modeled on vintage coin purses, a motif Coach connects with the Bonnie Cashin era. The name is shared by several different bags, and those should not be muddled. Observed at $350, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was reportedly the opening look of the Fall 2026 show. The family could predate that show, as earlier Kisslock Frame versions also appear in listings.
Now, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 turns up largely as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved; it is an older style made with quilted nappa leather and rivets. The Kisslock Barrel Bag is a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue based on a 1973 design. Adding yet another use of the name, a Kisslock Backpack was also unveiled for Fall 2026.
Swinger and Swing Zip: A Look at The Coach Originals
Consisting of newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals sells bags that are new rather than vintage. Coach dates the original Swinger design to 1987; it is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag with a turnlock. Also offered With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard, the Swinger Bag 20 is the current version. The two names are not interchangeable: the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, based on a 1998 design.
The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 were other Originals reported in early 2025. As of 2020, the Coach Originals name was reportedly being used. The line works for buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a truly vintage piece.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Soho is one of the trickiest names in the Coach catalog since it applies to three different products. Back in 2006, the original Soho Flap made its debut. Made in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a newer, smaller reissue as opposed to that 2006 bag. Listings have also included a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather, with Soho styles forming part of The Coach Originals.
Unlike the two bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear that Coach has featured in 2025 and 2026, and it belongs with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. Adding „Bag 25“ or „Flap“ to a search makes it easier to separate the bags from the shoe. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so consult Coach’s own website before buying.
Willow, Cassie and Juliet
None of these three lines has a documented launch year, though they are well known, so treat with caution any date you see online. Made in pebble leather, the Willow family has included the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. Coach’s own website has also offered a Custom Willow Tote, and the Willow Tote 24 is a simple example of a coach tote bag. Cassie is a crossbody and top-handle family, including the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 fitted with a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps.
Coach’s own website has continued to list Cassie styles under newer style codes. Offered in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30, Juliet is a relaxed shoulder bag in glovetanned leather. Before relying on an older review, check whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current, as availability changes by season.
Every Line at a Glance: Observed Prices
For each main line, the table below sets out the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. These are observed market prices, not an official Coach price list, and they change with size, material, color and promotions. US prices exclude sales tax, while UK prices include VAT. A coach outlet runs its own promotions on outlet styles, whereas full-price styles can be marked down during sales.
Outlet shops and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website make up Coach Outlet, and that is Coach’s own official channel. In 2014, Coach’s head of investor relations was quoted as saying about 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. That figure is now dated, and Tapestry has since talked about bringing some full-price collection product into outlets. Current-season lines can be found at a full-price coach store or on Coach’s own website.
